ArmInfo. No statements were made In Armenia that the village of Nerkin Hand is in the zone of  responsibility of Russian border guards. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated  on February 28 during government hour in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

According to him, only an alarm was sounded, which is now being  studied. In particular, the Armenian side is interested in the  question of what obstacles we are talking about. Based on the  investigation, Yerevan will make an appropriate decision. The Prime  Minister noted that as a result of well-known events and actions,  some sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border were formed  spontaneously. There is no agreement with the Russian side to provide  Russian border guards with a mandate to protect them. "But if the  Russian border guards did not provide appropriate security measures,  it is necessary to draw appropriate conclusions from this," said the  head of the Government.
