ArmInfo.Currently, the border demarcation and demarcation commissions between Armenia and Azerbaijan are discussing the procedure for solving the problem. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan stated on February 28 during the government hour in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to him, the project will include extensive methodical procedure. When this work is completed, both states will include the project in domestic circulation. At the same time, everything will depend on what is recorded in the document and what consensus the parties come to. "It is quite possible that this project will be put into circulation as a draft law," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
He added that if the Armenian side continues to adhere to its principles, and the draft document complies with the Alma-Ata Declaration, then in 2-3 months it will be possible to receive a draft regulation for the work of the commissions, which will also reflect the methodology for determining boundaries. The process of demarcation and delimitation of borders will take a long period of time.
On January 31, the sixth meeting of the RA Commission on the Delimitation and Security of the Borders of Armenia and the State Commission of Azerbaijan on the Delimitation of the State Border was held. It was held in the vicinity of Ijevan and Ghazakh, under the co-chairing of Mher Grigoryan and Deputy Head of the Government of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafaev.
Previously, Grigoryan stated that within the framework of the work of the commissions, an agreement was reached not to provide the public with more information than is reported in official press releases.
