Altounyan song and dance ensemble goes on tour of France 

ArmInfo. The State Ensemble of Armenian Folk Song and Dance "Altounyan", which is part of the  National Ensemble of Folk Music and Dance of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, will go on a tour of France.

The ensemble will perform 20 to 25 concerts. 

The tour has been organized by the S.A.S SPECTACLES DE TOUS PAYS. The  tour title is "Spectacle au pays d'Aznavour"  

The tour has been organized with the sponsorship of the Armenian  Embassy in France and of the French Embassy in Armenia.

The Tatoul Altounian ensemble was founded in 1938, it brought  together folk music and dances from different regions of Armenia. The  composer Alexander Alexanyan and the choreographer Edward Manoukyan  assisted Tatoul Altounian. In 2018 it received the Gold Medal of the  Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia and the best folk  group at the Armenian Folk Music Awards ceremony.

"This very popular show will offer you the prettiest costumes from  their cultural world with the exceptional and professional gestures  of a state troupe," reads an announcement by S.A.S SPECTACLES DE TOUS  PAYS.
