ArmInfo.Armenia's authorities are laying the groundwork for surrendering some strategic territories to the enemy, believes public and political figure Avetik Chalabyan.
The politician noted on his Facebook page that on February 15, at a meeting of the Armenian government, the person holding the position of Prime Minister, conveying another message from his foreign patrons to the Armenian people, said that Azerbaijan would start a new war. "At the same time, implying that, as before, he will do everything in his power to ensure that we quickly lose this war, because this is what was decided in some geopolitical centers," Chalabyan added, adding that he is not exaggerating in any way when he says all this.
In this vein, the social activist recalled that on September 28, 2020, the same person said from the rostrum of the National Assembly that "no matter what happens, we will not consider ourselves defeated," and then with a confident hand and calculating steps he led the country to defeat, and then he simply went on air and began shouting hysterically that "citizen the moment of retribution has come," trying to shift all the blame for the defeat onto the previous government.
"Whoever still does not believe in the version of an organized defeat, let me remind you that the case of the transfer of Shushi to the enemy is currently being investigated by the Investigative Committee. And in this case, the main suspect is the former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army Mikael Arzumanyan. Although it is obvious that the threads of this conspiracy operation are in another place and sooner or later they will be revealed," he noted.
Chalabyan is confident that the final surrender of Artsakh in September 2023 was carried out according to the same scenario.
For several months, the man holding the post of prime minister has been saying with a straight face that Azerbaijan is preparing ethnic cleansing in Artsakh. However, he never specified what the Armenian government was doing to prevent this. Instead, there are absurd and unaddressed calls to the "international community", various distracting actions and stony indifference. When Azerbaijan was finally convinced that there would be no real resistance from Armenia, it went on the attack and broke the resistance of the heroic, but completely isolated defenders of Artsakh.
Surprisingly, the man holding the post of Prime Minister was again able to get away with it, this time blaming Russian peacekeepers and the Artsakh authorities, although it was obvious that he himself surrendered Artsakh by recognizing the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in Prague in October 2022 ", noted the public figure.
At the same time, Chalabyan believes that today it is becoming obvious to the Armenian people that this same scenario is being repeated for the third time, only now the transfer of various strategic territories of the Republic of Armenia is at stake, and the main problem is the transfer of these territories while maintaining power.
He believes that to achieve this goal, those in power need to find new culprits and new "truth-like" lies to manipulate society. Chalabyan believes that since the so-called former authorities have not interfered in anything for a long time, the peacekeeping mission of the Russian Federation does not bear direct responsibility in the Syunik region, the Artsakh authorities are actually disorganized, then the perpetrators should be sought in their own circle.
According to him, this may explain the recent accusations against Yerhapa volunteers that they provoked an escalation in Nerkin Hand. "This also explains the corruption scandal surrounding the Ministry of Economy. I believe that the current regime has several more similar actions in stock. The two previous times, when this regime carried out operations to transfer Artsakh, the Armenian society and opposition forces, being much more inexperienced and disorganized, were unable to carry out effective countermeasures, and each time acted as a late responder (this also applies to me)," Chalabyan added.
According to him, as a result, the enemy's plans, although they met armed resistance of the Armenian people on the ground, ultimately became a reality. Chalabyan believes that this time it is necessary to act proactively, and for this, first of all, remove the current regime from power, as the main culprit of wars and defeats. The politician added that the Pashinyan regime must clearly understand that it will no longer be possible to surrender the Armenian lands again without consequences - he will no longer be able to maintain power.
"Then he will have to agree with his foreign sponsors on other scenarios that will not allow the unhindered continuation of Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia. The possibilities of this are being outlined. These days, the current government of Armenia is receiving relevant messages from various interested foreign centers of power, and it should send an equally strong signal receive from our own society. In the meantime, realizing that not everything depends on our goodwill, each of us must prepare for a possible new military aggression, with the expectation that in this case we will inflict maximum losses on the enemy on the border and, finally , let's get rid of his henchmen inside the country," Chalabyan wrote.
