ArmInfo. Armenian-Lithuanian bilateral defense consultations took place at the administrative complex of the RA Ministry of Defense.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Department of Defence Policy and International Cooperation of the MoD of the Republic of Armenia introduced Algirdas Norkus, head of the International Relations and Action Group of the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defense,on security issues and reforms being carried out in the field of defense.
The current progress and prospects of cooperation between Armenia and Lithuania in the field of defense were discussed, and a number of agreements were reached.
At the end of the consultations, a Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Lithuania for 2024 was signed.
