Georgian Acting FM again offers Armenia, Azerbaijan Tbilisi platform  for negotiations

ArmInfo. Despite the difficult situation in the region, Georgia supports and implements a balanced policy aimed at achieving stability and establishing a long-term peace in the region. Acting Foreign Minister of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili  stated at a joint meeting of the parliamentary committees on European integration and foreign affairs.

As Ilia Darchiashvili  noted, Georgia has repeatedly contributed to  effective communication between the neighboring republics of  Azerbaijan and Armenia by launching the Peaceful Neighborhood  initiative.  "We are ready to continue our participation in this  direction in accordance with the needs of our neighboring countries.  We want Tbilisi to be a place for our neighbors in the future, where  they can discuss any topical issues that will help restore trust  between the parties," noted the top Georgian diplomat, Georgia-Online  reports.
