ArmInfo. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev voiced a new batch of demands on Armenia. Now  he demands changes to the Constitution of Armenia.  Thus, during the meeting with Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Martin Chungong, Aliyev said there is already de facto peace between  Azerbaijan and Armenia, and a peace on the border of the two countries has been maintained for several months.

"For the logical completion of this process, it is necessary to sign  a peace treaty and put an end to 'Armenia's territorial claims'  against Azerbaijan. In the event of changes in the Constitution of  Armenia and other documents, peace can be achieved," Aliyev noted. .  After all, Aliyev perfectly understands that the decision of RA Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan is unconstitutional, since it contradicts  the declaration of independence of the Republic of Armenia. "The  Declaration of Independence of Armenia contains direct calls for the  'annexation of Nagorno-Karabakh' to Armenia and the 'violation of the  territorial integrity' of Azerbaijan, and references to this document  are reflected in the Constitution of Armenia. Also there are  'territorial claims against Azerbaijan' in other legal documents of  Armenia, many conventions to which Armenia has joined, and other  documents contain many preconditions that do not recognize  'Azerbaijan's sovereignty' over Karabakh," Aliyev said, adding that  if those claims are put to an end, changes are made to the  Constitution of Armenia and other legal documents, it is possible to  achieve peace.

Noting the importance of the speedy implementation of the  aforementioned by Armenia, Aliyev cynically stressed that he assesses  the beginning of internal discussions on this topic in Armenia as a  positive step that can provide a good opportunity for the quick  completion of the peace process.  He also referred to the PACE  decision regarding the Azerbaijani delegation. Aliyev assured that  the initiative of not validating the powers of the Azerbaijani  delegation in the PACE does not serve dialogue.  At the same time, he  noted that if the rights of the Azerbaijani delegation are not  restored, the issue of Azerbaijan's participation in the Council of  Europe and the European Court of Human Rights will be reconsidered.

Aliyev once again criticized Paris, saying that "by pursuing a  destructive policy in the region, France is pouring gasoline on the  fire." "Armenia is pursuing a policy of 'militarization' and is the  'initiator of geopolitical intrigues'; he also noted that official  Paris is the cause of tension in the region and is conducting  "anti-Azerbaijani policies in various international organizations and  at the parliamentary level.  France is pursuing a policy aimed at  achieving a leading position and strengthening its influence in the  South Caucasus region, but its efforts in this direction are in  vain," he added.

Earlier, the Armenian authorities, at different levels, suddenly  started talking about the need to write a completely new Constitution  for Armenia, which would 'correspond to the new regional realities'.  In parallel, there was talk about changing the coat of arms, the  anthem, as well as the names of the Armenian history textbooks. As it  became known as events developed, all these actions of the RA  authorities are aimed at meeting the demands of the  Azerbaijani-Turkish tandem. As it became known today, the public  television channel of Armenia has already removed Mount Ararat from  the anthem screensaver. In fact, to please the demands of unfriendly  neighbors, the Armenian authorities are ready to abandon the  centuries- old history of the Armenian people. And they diligently  propagate these narratives on the domestic political agenda.
