In this context, an exchange of views on issues of security and stability in the South Caucasus took place. Mirzoyan presented in detail to the Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Armenia's vision for ensuring stability in the region, including key principles in the process of regulating Armenian- Azerbaijani relations.
The importance of territorial integrity, indivisibility of borders and unambiguous respect for sovereignty was emphasized. Mirzoyan emphasized Armenia's clear intention and commitment in this matter, adding that, on the other hand, Azerbaijan's maximalist rhetoric and destructive steps are not conducive to the implementation of the peace agenda in the region.
