ArmInfo.The customs services of Armenia and Georgia are actively discussing models of joint control and inspection of cargo at border checkpoints, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a joint briefing with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili.
"This process will have a significant impact on reducing the time of customs procedures, their efficient organization and simplification of cargo transportation," Pashinyan noted.
Developments around the "Crossroads of the World" project, promoted by the Armenian Cabinet, were also presented to Georgian colleagues. Pashinyan recalled that the initiative was presented at the 4th Silk Road Forum last year.
