ArmInfo."The legitimate borders of Armenia are a red line for us," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in parliament on January 17 during government hour, answering a question from opposition member of the "Armenia" faction Agnessa Hamoyan.
The parliamentarian recalled that the Prime Minister himself recently admitted that Yerevan and Baku still speak to each other in different diplomatic languages and often do not understand each other, and Aliyev's latest statements are a blow to the peace process. The head of the RA Cabinet of Ministers even noted that it seems that Azerbaijan is trying to make territorial claims against Armenia, which is completely unacceptable. However, Yerevan continues to promote the peace agenda. "Have you noticed that you are always talking about your readiness 'to give', 'to give in', while Aliyev is talking about taking away: Where does your readiness 'to give' end, since Baku is not going to stop," Hamoyan asked.
"Legitimacy - this is our political and diplomatic defense strategy," Nikol Pashinyan said.
At the same time, the RA Prime Minister expressed hope that Baku's statements are not aimed at deliberately bringing the negotiation process to a dead end.
