ArmInfo.. Nagorno-Karabakh: Armenian Heritage at Risk open- air exhibition has opened at the Place de la Bastille in Paris, within which exclusive photographs of cultural and historical monuments of Artsakh are exhibited.
The exhibition has been organized jointly by the Paris City Hall and L'Ouvre d'Orient, a Catholic aid organization. The head of the Armenian diplomatic corps in France, Hasmik Tolmajian, expressing gratitude to the organizers of the exhibition for the constant support of Armenia and the Armenian people, noted that holding this event is another manifestation of solidarity. The Ambassador noted that after the ethnic cleansing carried out by the Azerbaijani regime in Nagorno- Karabakh, Azerbaijan is taking steps to eliminate traces of the millennia-old presence of Armenians, eloquent evidence of which is the churches, monuments and memorials depicted in the photographs presented. In this context, Hasmik Tolmajian emphasized the special importance of international efforts to popularize and preserve the Armenian historical and cultural heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The opening of the exhibition was also attended by Deputy Paris Mayors Carine Rolland and Arnaud Ngatcha, L'Ouvre d'Orient President Jean-Yves Tolot and others. The exhibition will be open until January 15.
