Team Telecom Armenia sums up 2023

ArmInfo. Team Telecom Armenia summed up the results of 2023, which was marked by the company's entry into the capital market, the construction of a new generation network, the re-equipment of mobile stations, the launch of the Team Energy project and a number of other initiatives.

In particular, Team Telecom Armenia is the first telecommunications company the  shares of which were listed on the Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX). The company will use the raised funds to expand the high- speed fiber optic network NGN, build a 5G network, and activate new international channels.

Continuing the construction of the strategic NGN network, the company has completed work in major cities of the Syunik region and in more than a dozen cities and villages in other regions. As a result, 223,000 households in different localities of Armenia already have the opportunity to use high-speed Internet with a capacity of 25,000 Mbit/s. The company has also upgraded 34 mobile stations and added new offices in data centers in Frankfurt and Amsterdam, which will improve the quality and reliability of the Internet in Armenia.

In order to stimulate the use of electric vehicles in Armenia, Team has launched a project to build Team Energy fast charging stations throughout Armenia, for which you can download the Team Energy application.  In collaboration with the world-renowned GeForce Now, the company launched the GeForce Games cloud service, offering its subscribers to turn the most ordinary computer, TV, phone or tablet into a powerful gaming device, playing the most popular games with high-speed Internet.

During and after the sad events of September, the company provided forcibly displaced citizens of Artsakh with access to telephone and Internet, activating telephone numbers with the 097-code in the territory of Armenia and providing free communication for a period of 6 months. "Last year was a year of ambitioussteps and decisions for Team Telecom Armenia. I am glad that we were able to implement these big projects despite all the challenges and difficulties that we faced in 2023.
