ArmInfo. Today, the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan are trying to convince the Armenian people that the cancellation of the famous decree of the President of Artsakh (on the liquidation of the NKR - ed.) could lead to new Azerbaijani aggression, Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the With Honor parliamentary faction, wrote on his Facebook account as he commented on the document on the return of Azerbaijanis "to their historical land in Armenia" approved by the Azerbaijani parliament.
According to him, in order to patch up the Artsakh page and remove this topic from the final agenda, Azerbaijan immediately after the 44-day war removed the position on Nagorno-Karabakh from the negotiation agenda.
"And during 2021-23, gradually, even after the aggression, in order to be on the safe side, at the parliamentary level he is promoting the so-called "right of Azerbaijanis to return to Armenia."
In parallel, during the same period, Azerbaijan carried out several attacks on the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia and occupied an area of about 200 square kilometers.
Now the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan are trying to convince the Armenian people that the repeal of the famous decree of the President of Artsakh could lead to new Azerbaijani aggression," the deputy added.
In this vein, he drew attention to the fact that for the last 3 years, Azerbaijan has been doing as it wanted with the RA government: starting a war, violating an agreement, lying, fooling, and using it as a "rag."
At the same time, he stated that only a naive person can think that if Azerbaijan has set itself the goal of again taking something away from Armenia, then it will not find the opportunity.
"The issue of Artsakh has become a bone in the throat of the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and in order to get rid of it, they speak the language of joint blackmail and threats.
"Having digested" the famous decree, they will act in a similar way in relation to various regions of the Republic of Armenia in order to satisfy all the expectations of Azerbaijan's territorial and political ambitions," Abrahamyan concluded.
