ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashin participated in the informal summit of the CIS member countries, which is taking place in St. Petersburg. According to the government's press service, during the meeting the participants discussed issues related to cooperation in the CIS.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin noted that following the results of 10 months of 2023, trade turnover between the CIS countries showed steady growth. According to him, during the reporting period, the volume of mutual trade increased by 2% per annum, amounting to $83.7 billion.
"Naturally, we will pay close attention to further strengthening economic cooperation within the CIS," he emphasized.
It is reported that before the summit, the heads of state visited the Pavlovsk museum-reserve, after which they head to the Catherine Palace, the complex of palaces and gardens of Peterhof, where they got acquainted with exhibits of historical significance.
