He recalled that the EAEU has been functioning for almost 10 years. During that time, the volume of mutual trade within the union almost doubled, and total GDP grew from $1.6 trillion to $2.5 trillion. "Intensive single markets for goods, services, capital and labor resources have been formed operating according to agreed rules. And most importantly, the Eurasian Union has emerged as an authoritative international integration association with an effective structure, a good base, the work of which directly contributes to increasing the well-being and improving the quality of life of the citizens of our states ", Putin said.
Further, under the chairmanship of Putin, negotiations in a narrow format began, in which Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich also took part.
