ArmInfo. Yerevan confirms that it has received a response from Baku regarding the peace treaty.
"Yerevan has received proposals from Baku regarding the peace treaty," Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ani Badalyan said in response to Armenian media requests for clarification.
Earlier, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced that official Baku received the new package of proposals for a peace treaty from Yerevan at the end of November this year.
"Armenia submitted proposals that we developed within a month. The process is underway. I believe that the meetings will take place in 2024. We are looking at this issue both realistically and optimistically. At the same time, when we talk about a peace treaty, we need to understand that it does not mean a 100 percent solution to everything," he added.
