According to Gerasimov, during the hostilities, Russian peacekeepers ensured the accommodation of more than 10 thousand people in their places of deployment, and subsequently the safe departure to Armenia of almost the entire population of Nagorno-Karabakh. He added that almost 300 wounded were transported by peacekeepers to hospitals.
