


ArmInfo. On December 18, Armenia's Vice-Premier Mher Grigoryan took part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS States in Moscow.
In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister especially emphasized cooperation in the field of culture and emphasized that in 2024 the Armenian city of Gyumri will receive the honorary status of the sports capital of the CIS, which will open its doors to everyone who wants to take part in upcoming sporting events and get acquainted with the cultural heritage of the "city of craftsmen."
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that at the 18th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, a decision was made to include the blacksmithing of Gyumri on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.
