Armenia and Egypt discussed opportunities for cooperation in the military industry. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of High- Technological Industry of Armenia, referring to the results of the meeting of head of the relevant department Robert Khachatryan with  Minister of State for Military Production  of Egypt Mohamed Salah Eldin Mostafa, which took place as part of the working visit of the  Armenian delegation to Egypt.

It is reported that Robert Khachatryan  expressed the readiness of the Armenian side to cooperate with Egypt  in the field of military industry, production, as well as in the  context of the exchange of professional experience.

The ministers agreed to organize mutual visits of specialists to  identify the technological and production potential of the two  countries and develop effective mechanisms for cooperation.

In turn, the Egyptian Minister of State attached importance to the  development of bilateral relations with the support of the political  leadership of the countries. According to the source, he visited the  Armenian pavilion at the EDEX-2023 exhibition of defense and security  technologies in Egypt.
