List of intangible cultural heritage values of Armenia in need of  immediate protection supplemented with new elements

ArmInfo.The list of values of the intangible cultural heritage of Armenia in need of immediate  protection has been supplemented with new elements.  As the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia reports, the list of values of intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of  Armenia in need of immediate protection, which consisted of 19 elements, has been supplemented with another 14 elements.

Thus, now there are 33 of them. In particular, "Dance with Candles",  "Seven Stones", "Qarktik", "Gyumri Carpentry", "Tradition of Making  Malt", "Karchevan Dialect", "Tradition of Making Chatan of the Meghri  Community" , "Pottery tradition of the Goris and Sis communities",  "Tradition of making and using bread from whole grain flour and  sourdough", "The performance and instrument-making tradition of the  tambourine, santoor, saz ", "Sacrificial milk soup" and "Buka-barane  ritual".

The lists of intangible cultural heritage values include elements of  traditional culture that uniquely express the cultural originality  and national identity of the Armenian people. The preservation and  popularization of these values greatly contribute to the process of  transmitting the national cultural heritage to generations and  increasing the level of recognition of Armenia in the international  arena.
