In Russia, Mihran is engaged in wholesale trade of products, cargo transportation, car rental and leasing. In Armenia, among other things, Poghosyan is accused of tax evasion in the amount of $1.3 million through illegal entrepreneurship. And on May 17, a TON of cocaine worth 250 million euros was intercepted in the republic, which was brought by a company importing Ecuadorian fruits. The ban was intended for the banana supply company, which is owned by, you guessed it, Poghosyan.
Poghosyan is wanted for crimes under nine criminal articles. - He is accused of legalizing especially large amounts of property obtained through criminal means (money laundering), embezzlement of especially large amounts of entrusted property (five episodes), using official position to commit large amounts of waste, abuse of official powers (two episodes) and exceeding official powers. He is also involved in the "cocaine case" in connection with the detention by the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia (May 17 of this year - ed. note) of 1 ton of cocaine, which was brought into the republic by a company importing fruit from Ecuador. It was noted that a giant shipment of drugs (its value is estimated at approximately 250 million euros) entered the republic in transit through Panama, Italy and Georgia. On May 24, from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that according to preliminary data, the recipient of cocaine in Armenia was supposed to be a well-known company in Armenia engaged in the supply of bananas, the owner of which is a member of the National Assembly, now on the international wanted list. The next day, Mihran Poghosyan issued a statement saying that he had personally warned the director of the NSS about the illegal supply of a large amount of cocaine to Armenia.
