ArmInfo.Russian President Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov commented on the statement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about Baku's preparation for war.
Earlier, Pashinyan, during a meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan, stated that Armenia sees a threat of a new escalation due to the concept of the so-called "Western Azerbaijan" promoted by Baku.
"Unfortunately, I cannot say anything, because I am not familiar with such statements at the state level of Azerbaijan. We have heard completely different statements from the leadership of the country, from the leadership of Azerbaijan, in which, rather, it is said about the completion of one stage of the need for withdrawal and readiness to conclude peace treaty. Therefore, I can't say anything specifically about this part of Mr. Pashinyan's statements," Peskov said, , answering the question of how the Kremlin views Pashinyan's statements RIA Novosti reports.
