ArmInfo. Armenia's Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan met with the Director of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) Spyridon Flogaitis, in Athens, Greece.
According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Justice, at the meeting the Armenian minister presented a program for reforming the justice sector, as well as the process of constitutional reforms in Armenia and possible support in this matter from international partners.
Professor Flogaitis noted that reforms in this area are really important and the European Public Law Organization is ready to support the constitutional reforms taking place in Armenia.
At the meeting, the parties agreed that Grigor Minasyan will take part in an event of the EPLO Board of Directors, which will be held in Portugal in January 2024, at which he will present the progress of constitutional reforms in Armenia. The European Public Law Organization's support for constitutional reforms in Armenia will help to successfully complete the reform process in accordance with the highest European standards. The parties agreed to involve leading and experienced EPLO experts in the Georgian- Armenian legal forum.
The Minister and the head of EPLO discussed other options for cooperation for the benefit of improving the justice system in the Republic of Armenia.
