Josep Borrell, Melanie Joly discuss Canadian participation to EUMA

ArmInfo. High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell  discussed with Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly the participation of the Canadian side in the EU civilian mission in Armenia.

" Good to meet my friend Melanie Joly ahead of the EU-Canada Summit.  We had an in- depth discussion on the situation in the Middle East I  thanked her for her personal engagement for Canadian participation to  the EU mission in Armenia," Borrell wrote in his microblog on X.

During her visit to Armenia at the end of October, the Minister of  Foreign Affairs of Canada visited the EU civilian mission in Jermuk,  where she announced that the Canadian side would send two observers  who would have to join the mission.
