Investigative committee of Armenia published data on numbers of killed & wounded, among them civilians, including children, as result of large-scale military attack by Azerbaijan against #NagornoKarabakh on September 19. Spokesperson of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ani Badalyan wrote on her Official account in X (formerly Twitter).
"14 individuals were tortured & 64 died on the move from NK," she noted, also posting an infographic with data on the death of over 200 Artsakh residents during the latest enemy aggression, including 9 civilians and 3 children. Over 231 servicemen and 80 civilians were injured.
Earlier, Armenia's former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan posted the Fact-finding activity results regarding the Azerbaijani armed attacks against Artsakh. "By the Azerbaijani armed attacks against Artsakh Azerbaijani Armed servicemen killed 18 civilians including 6 children, as well as women and the elderly on September 19-20, 2023," Tatoyan noted.
The exact number of dead soldiers of the Artsakh Defense Army, who at the cost of their lives defended the right of Artsakh people to live on their land, is still not known. According to some reports, in an unequal battle, when 2,500 Armenian soldiers confronted a 60,000-strong enemy army, several hundred servicemen of the NKR Army were killed.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Health officially reported that 197 Azerbaijani servicemen were killed in this aggression, and another 512 were injured. According to unofficial data, the number of enemy military loses exceeds 500 people.
