ArmInfo. Doctors of Artsakh, who were forcibly displaced from their homeland as a result of Azerbaijani aggression, are starting their professional activities in Armenia.
In particular, at the National Institute of Health of the Ministry of Health, Deputy Minister of the Department Lena Nanushyan presented certificates of professional activity and continuous professional development (CPD) to 33 medical workers from Artsakh.
She noted that doctors who do not have a sufficient number of CPD credits can also start working, but the latter will be given the opportunity to take relevant courses that will allow them to accumulate credits and receive certificates. According to the deputy minister, as part of the state order, another 1,200 health workers will undergo retraining by the end of the year. At the moment, over 300 Artsakh doctors are undergoing retraining.
"Information about all medical workers in Artsakh has been collected, the list of vacant positions from outpatient clinics and clinics to hospitals has been updated. Work in this direction continues," Nunshyan emphasized.
