Armenia did not make any promises to anyone within framework of such  terminology - Armenia`s premier in response to Turkish president`s  statement

The word  "corridor" is generally used in the global world as a common term for  communication channels; The official name of our North-South project  is "North-South Road Corridor", in the tripartite statement, with a  slightly different logic, there is the Lachin Corridor, which  contains some content of extraterritoriality or control by a third  power, besides, the Lachin Corridor is not  simply a road.  It's a  5km wide swath of territory under third-party control, the crux of  this thread is also related to this. We say that RA is ready and  interested in opening regional communications. We are ready to open  the roads for Azerbaijan and Turkey - yes, we are ready, as it was  recorded, it should happen on the basis of the sovereignty and  jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia, on the principle of equality  and reciprocity. This means that no third power should have control  over any territory of Armenia. When crossing the borders of the  Republic of Armenia, the border guard and customs services of the  Republic of Armenia should act," he said.  

Regarding the opinion that it can be called the Meghri road, talking  about the railway passing through Meghri, Pashinyan mentioned:  

"In the case of the railway, the issue of its passing through Meghri  is unobjectionable, because we have not had a railway anywhere else.  This means lifting the blockade of Armenia. We have another railway,  Ijevan- Hrazdan-Kazakh, but there is a big problem there. There has  been a very large landslide in the area of Haghartsin village for  more than 20 years, which according to the most preliminary  estimates, 500 million dollars or more is needed to eliminate it. It  is also a question whether it will be active in the future or not,  but on the other hand, we do not have any problem restoring the  Meghri railway. On the contrary, it means lifting the blockade of  Armenia, and that means peace."
