Charles Michel to invite Pashinyan, Aliyev to Brussels by the end of  October

ArmInfo. The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, will invite the leaders of Armenia  and Azerbaijan to a meeting in Brussels by the end of October. 

According to Reuters, Charles Michel told reporters  in Granada,  where the summit of the European Political Community is taking place.

Yesterday, Azerbaijani media reported that Aliyev refused to  participate in a meeting with the leaders of Armenia and EU countries  in Granada, Spain on October 5. It was reported that an  anti-Azerbaijani environment had formed in the proposed format. It  was also noted that Baku insisted on the presence of Turkish  representatives at the meeting. "But that opportunity did not arise,  and France and Germany showed particular zeal in it;" the media  noted. Despite this, the previous evening the Armenian Prime Minister  confirmed his visit to Granada. Pashinyan expressed regret that the  "turning" document will not be signed, expressing his readiness to  sign it at a convenient time.
