Catherine Colonna: Russia has not fulfilled its obligation of  political regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations

ArmInfo.Russia has not fulfilled its obligations regarding the political settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations undertaken within the framework of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020. French Foreign Minister  Catherine Colonna stated during a joint conference with the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

"It was its obligation, and it did not fulfill it," she emphasized.

At the same time, the French Minister said that an opportunity was  created to talk about Armenia within the framework of the EU-27  foreign ministers' meeting held in Kyiv yesterday. "The tragic events  in Nagorno- Karabakh force a number of our partners to change their  vision of what is happening in the Caucasus. And this will allow us  to achieve the unity that Europeans need to support Armenia, so that  the state can find a long-term stable solution that will solve all  the issues with Azerbaijan," she emphasized.
