ArmInfo.The condition of most of the victims as a result of the explosion at a fuel depot in Artsakh is assessed as serious or extremely serious.
Minister of Health of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan stated at a press conference at the Humanitarian Center of the Government of Armenia.
She noted that in total more than 200 people were injured from the explosion. There are currently 67 people in the National Burn Center of Armenia. Speaking about the death cases, the minister noted that as of today, 125 bodies have been transported. "The next step will be identification. We will publish the information later," she said.
At the same time, Avanesyan said that the evacuation process continues. "Our ambulances are right now transporting from Stepanakert, both those wounded as a result of military operations and those wounded as a result of the explosion," she said.
The head of the Ministry of Health did not separately note the number of wounded among the military and civilian population, but noted that some of them are already in medical centers in Armenia, where they are receiving the necessary treatment.
According to the latest government data, over 20 thousand internally displaced persons have entered Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh.
