According to him, the Russian Federation categorically disagrees with the attempt to place responsibility for the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh on Moscow and Russian peacekeepers. "We understand the emotional intensity of this moment, but we categorically disagree with the attempt to place responsibility on the Russian side, or even more so on the Russian peacekeepers, who are showing real heroism in carrying out their functions in accordance with the mandate that they have. no one should accuse the peacekeepers of doing something wrong. We will never agree with such reproaches," he said.
At the same time, the spokesperson noted that Armenia, despite such statements by its prime minister, remains an ally of Russia. "This is a people with whom we are closely aligned. There are more Armenians living in our country than in Armenia itself. We will continue to fulfill our functions, our dialogue with Pashinyan. We will continue to work to respect all the rights of the residents of Karabakh," Peskov concluded, Russian media reported.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Armenia shifted all responsibility for what is happening today around Artsakh to the Russian side.
