Georgia ready to work with Azerbaijan and Armenia to bring lasting  peace to South Caucasus - PM

ArmInfo. The fundamental principle of the Georgian government is to avoid war and preserve  peace, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.

He said that Georgia is ready to work with Azerbaijan and Armenia to  bring lasting peace to the South Caucasus: "The fundamental principle  of our government is to avoid war and preserve peace. Despite the  challenges posed by our geographical position, we have managed to  keep our people safe while supporting Ukraine and the international  community with our prudent policy and close coordination with our  partners.  The Peaceful Neighborhood Initiative (launched) through my  government. We are ready to work with our neighbors and friends from  Armenia and Azerbaijan to finally bring lasting peace to the South  Caucasus."
