ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that there is a "real chance" for the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh to return to their homes.
As Pashinyan said on September 22 at a government meeting, the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh remains extremely tense. The humanitarian crisis continues. As the Prime Minister indicated, he is in constant contact with partners from Nagorno-Karabakh, and the discussions that took place this morning showed that "it can nevertheless be stated that there are certain hopes for a positive change in the situation."
"And this is the assessment of a group of our partners from Nagorno-Karabakh, which we also share, that is, the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, our compatriots can get a real chance to return to their homes," he said.
But at the same time, he emphasized, it should be understood that the situation is changing dynamically. <It is important to have clear information and an understanding of the dynamics of the situation. There is hope for an improvement in the humanitarian situation. It is possible that several more delivers of humanitarian aid may enter Nagorno-Karabakh today," the head of the RA Cabinet of Ministers noted.
According to him, there are certain agreements that need to be implemented. Whether it will work out or not, Pashinyan cannot say yet, since we are talking about a dynamic process.
Yesterday, during a live broadcast, Pashinyan, before a meeting of the UN Security Council, said that he did not see a direct threat to the civilian population of NK.
