ArmInfo. What does it mean that groups of students and athletes are trying to organize mass unrest in Yerevan?, asked Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan with genuine surprise on the evening of September 21 during a Facebook live broadcast.
<One of the participants, according to our information, is connected with the son of one of the former leaders of Armenia. Others are students connected to the highest circles of Nagorno-Karabakh. But whoever it is, the reaction will be very tough, and it is tough," Pashinyan said.
According to the prime minister, citizens want a faster and tougher reaction, and there will be one. "They (the organizers of the protests) want blood to be shed on the streets of Yerevan. However, we will be within the framework of the law and the "steel mandate," he noted.
<But we love our fellow citizens, even those who insult us. We cannot unleash an avalanche of hatred on people's heads. The law enforcement system is in place, it is operating and arrests will continue, the perpetrators will be punished," Pashinyan said.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers called on people to remain calm and not cross the line of legality.
In connection with Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh, as well as the position of the RA authorities, there have been protests for several days now in Yerevan, in particular near the government building, demanding a change of power and the resignation of the head of the Cabinet, as well as the adoption of measures to protect Artsakh and Artsakh people.
