RA MFA: statements alone are not enough; clear actions by int`l  partners are needed to restrain Azerbaijan

ArmInfo.Azerbaijan is pursuing the goal of subjecting the population of Nagorno-Karabakh to  ethnic cleansing with the use of force, depriving them of the right  to live and work in their homeland freely and with dignity. Armenian  Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated yesterday during a meeting  with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, referring to the  aggression committed by Baku against Nagorno-Karabakh.

The minister added that Baku has been pursuing the same goal since  December 2022, when it illegally closed the only road connecting  Nagorno-Karabakh with Armenia, and subsequently completely closed the  Lachin corridor.

It was emphasized that in the current situation, statements alone are  not enough; clear actions by international partners are needed to  restrain Azerbaijan, prevent mass crimes in Nagorno-Karabakh as well  as prevent the destabilization of the entire South Caucasus.
