ArmInfo.Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi had left for New York, the United States, on Monday to attend and address the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 18 to 26. The Iranian president departed New York for Tehran on Wednesday to end his three- day stay there.
In response to a media question about the tension between two Iranian neighbors, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Raisi said such tensions are not acceptable; meanwhile, they can be solved through dialogue.
Islamic Republic of Iran can act as mediator to remove the tensions among the neighboring states, the president said underlining that Iran will never accept any change in geopolitical positions in the region.
