ArmInfo. There are two factors working against Armenia that must be taken into account, one  of which is geopolitical. The coordinator of the "Hayakwe" initiative, socio-political figure Avetik Chalabyan stated  at a rally on September 20.

He noted that the regional security system that has been used for  many years has been completely destroyed, which is due to Russia's  involvement in the war with Ukraine. "What happened yesterday is the  biggest shame for Russia, since it was Moscow that acted as at least  one of the main guarantors of the security of Artsakh and the  Armenian people, but yesterday Russia did not fulfill this  responsibility," Chalabyan said.

He recalled that Moscow points to Yerevan's recognition of the  territorial integrity of Azerbaijan as the reasons for its passivity.  "But even if Armenia recognized Artsakh, it is doubtful that Russia  would have done the same," Chalabyan said, pointing to the second  factor, which is associated with the current government in Armenia.

As he  noted, the current government came to power with only one goal  - to surrender Artsakh. <You all listened to today's speech by Nikol  Pashinyan. I listened to him with shame; this is not a speech by the  leader of my country. He was just trying to explain that there is no  Armenian Armed Forces in Artsakh, but it would be better if they were  there and defended Artsakh," Chalabyan said, adding that the patience  of the Armenian people had run out. The people are tired of listening  to fairy tales from representatives of the current government.  "That's it, the enemy is already knocking on our door, it's time to  act," Chalabyan emphasized.
