Putin on situation in Artsakh: Russian peacekeepers are doing  everything to protect civilians

ArmInfo.Russian President Vladimir Putin touched upon the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and  emphasized that Russian peacekeepers are doing everything to protect civilians and resolve the conflict.

Thus, at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, he drew  attention to the fact that at the main base of Russian peacekeepers  there are over 2,000 civilians, of which more than a thousand are  children.  <Russian peacekeepers are doing everything to protect  civilians. We are in constant contact with the authorities in  Yerevan, Stepanakert and Baku," said Vladimir Putin.

The Russian leader also said that Moscow will try to bring all  problems into a peaceful channel.  Yesterday, Azerbaijan, under the  pretext of an anti-terrorist operation, undertook another act of  aggression against Artsakh. As a result of the enemy's aggression,  there are hundreds of wounded, more than 100 people were killed,  including civilians, and 7,000 were evacuated. Artsakh fell today.  Azerbaijan started the violent subjugation of Artsakh.
