ArmInfo. Members of the European Parliament (EP) called on the EU Council to consider  imposing sanctions against the Azerbaijani authorities for military actions in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is stated in the EP statement.

"We condemn in the strongest terms today's pre-planned and  unjustified attack by Azerbaijan on Nagorno- Karabakh. In the absence  of an immediate halt to the ongoing attack, we call on the EU Council  to fundamentally review relations with Azerbaijan and consider  imposing sanctions against the responsible Azerbaijani authorities,"  the statement reads.
