ArmInfo. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev made a statement against the backdrop of a new round of tension around Artsakh, in which, without mentioning names, touched upon the policies of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"Once one of my colleagues from a fraternal country told me: "Well, I'm a stranger to you, you won't accept me." I answered what I should: "We will judge not by biography, but by actions." Then he lost the war, but strangely stayed in place. Then he decided to blame Russia for his mediocre defeat. Then he gave up part of the territory of his country. Then he decided to flirt with NATO, and his wife defiantly went to our enemies with cookies. Guess what fate awaits him:>," Medvedev wrote in his Telegram channel. Today Azerbaijan, under the pretext of an anti-terrorist operation, began a large-scale aggression against Artsakh. The final goal of this enemy operation is the abolition of the Artsakh Defense Army and the de- Armenization of the NKR. The Azerbaijani side has already openly stated this. The enemy side has already offered the Artsakh people a corridor to leave Artsakh. According to media reports, the enemy is targeting, including children's institutions, several children (at least 7 children) were taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity.
Against the backdrop of what was happening, the Prime Minister of Armenia convened a meeting of the RA Security Council. The Armenian Foreign Ministry issued a statement accusing Baku of carrying out ethnic cleansing in Artsakh.
The RA Ministry of Defense made a toothless statement that there is no Armenian Armed Forces in Artsakh, and added that the situation on the borders of the republic is relatively stable.
