"There is also a strengthening of combat positions with personnel,  armored vehicles, artillery installations and other fire weapons,  bringing units to a high level of combat readiness, creating  additional mobilization units, expanding reconnaissance activities  against units of the Azerbaijani army," stated the Azerbaijani  Ministry of Defense, talking nonsense about the alleged penetration  of Artsakh DA units deep into Azerbaijani positions and mining of  roads.

Then the AR Ministry of Defense remembered the tripartite statement  of November 9, 2020,  and declared their intention to ensure the  implementation of their provisions and the liquidation of the Artsakh  Defense Army by carrying out "anti-terrorism measures of a local  nature."

"The positions of the Armenian armed forces formations, their  long-term firing points, as well as military means and military  facilities are being hit as part of the operations of using  high-precision weapons on the front line and in the depths. Once  again, we declare that the civilian population and civil  infrastructural objects are not targeted, only legitimate military  targets are destroyed," the AR Ministry of Defense said.

It is also emphasized that the command of the peacekeeping contingent  of the Russian Federation and the leadership of the Turkish-Russian  Monitoring Center were informed about the ongoing activities.  As  ArmInfo previously reported, the enemy side is currently shelling  Stepanakert and its environs.
