ArmInfo. head of the Armenian government, Nikol Pashinyan, is guided by the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Armenian-Russian relations, but he is not obliged to follow the comments of other people and does not do so. Pashinyan himself stated this on September 13 during government hour in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, answering a question from MP from the <Armenia> opposition faction Agnessa Hamoyan.
The MP, in particular, pointing out the presence of problems in Armenian-Russian relations, cited publications in the media according to which Russia is allegedly preparing a revolution in Armenia with the involvement of the PMC Wagner( The Wagner Group officially PMC Wagner, ed. note).
MP Hamoyan asked if Pashinyan had any concerns about a possible revolution in Armenia initiated by Russia.
In response, the RA Prime Minister reminded Putin's statement that there are no problems in Armenian- Russian relations. As for publications in the media, law enforcement agencies must respond to them. "As far as I know, a similar publication published in telegram channels. The National Security Service, within its competence, checks the published information," the prime minister noted. Pashinyan emphasized that a revolution in the country can only be carried out by the people who have already done it.
Recently, in the mass media, especially pro-government ones, there are active rumors about the presence of 3,000 PMC Wagner soldiers in Armenia, who are supposed to carry out a coup with the support of the local forces.
