ArmInfo. Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan is unwilling to reveal the details of his telephone talk with Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
"My talk with Erdogan was a strictly official one. I can say it was substantial and useful. A number of nuances are important, and I should maintain permanent contracts with him," Mr Pashinyan said in an interview with the Public TV of Armenia.
Armenia's premier had a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the conversation Armenian-Turkish relations and regional issues were discussed.
Also during the conversation both leaders underlined that achieving a lasting peace and stability in the region will contribute to the development and prosperity of all countries of the region, and stated that they shall continue diplomatic efforts to this end.
Armenia's actions in Azerbaijan's Karabakh region are wrong and cannot be tolerated, President Recep Erdogan said at a press conference following the G20 summit in New Delhi.
"I will hold talks with Nikol Pashinyan on this matter. We have no choice but to call for a reduction in tension in the region. The steps taken by Armenia are wrong. During my conversation tomorrow, I will warn Pashinyan and let him know that the so-called 'elections' in Karabakh are unacceptable," Erdogan said.
