Defender`s Office: aggressive behavior of Azerbaijani AF grossly  violates principles of int`l law, poses real threat to right to life  and safety, as well as other fundamental rights of civilians

ArmInfo.Today, on September 1, the office of the Human Rights Defender received alerts regarding  intensive shooting by the Azerbaijani armed forces in the direction  of the Armenian positions located in the Sotk and Norabak sectors of  Gegharkunik region. This is stated in the statement of the office of  the RA Human Rights Defender.

"The office of the Human Rights Defender is conducting monitoring and  collecting facts, subsequently the Defender will release an  additional statement.  Simultaneously, the Defender emphasizes that  the aggressive behavior of the armed forces of Azerbaijan grossly  violates the principles of international law, presenting a real  threat to the right to life and safety, as well as other fundamental  rights of civilians," the statement reads.
