ArmInfo. A group of Artsakh residents are holding a protest in front of Russia's Embassy in Armenia demanding release of three Artsakh residents taken hostage by Azerbaijan while crossing Artsakh into Armenia accompanied by Russian peacekeepers.
The protesters are chanting "Freedom for the Armenian hostages", "End of terrorism", "Artsakh". They demand the implementation of the provisions of the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020, signed by the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan. The protesters noted that Russian peacekeepers were responsible for the incident. "Just as you took the responsibility to safely transport the guys to Yerevan, now you are responsible to return them home. We do not give you time to think, negotiate, discuss. You only have today. Today you must return them," the protesters said. After the rally at the Russian embassy, the participants organized a procession to the building of the RA government.
