ArmInfo. The delegation of the National Defense College of India, headed by Commandant of the college, Lieutenant General Sukriti Singh Dahiya is on a visit to Yerevan. According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Defense, the delegation that arrived on August 27 will stay in Armenia until August 31. The delegation is comprised of senior military and civilian representatives from India, France, Brazil, Nigeria, Mongolia and Sri Lanka.
During the visit, on August 28, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia and the First Deputy Minister of Defense, as well as other high-ranking officials, held a meeting with the delegation at the Ministry of Defense headquarters.
Later, the delegation met with Head of the Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation of the RA MoD Levon Ayvazyan, and also visited the National Defense Research University.
A wide range of issues relating to regional security, Armenia's defense policy, military reforms, military education and military science were discussed during the meetings.
During the visit, a meeting of the delegation with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia is also planned.
