ArmInfo.Stepanakert refutes reports of the Armenian mass media claiming that President of Artsakh  convened a meeting of the Security Council on August 22, during which a decision was made to accept the supply of the republic from Azerbaijan.

Spokesperson of Artsakh President Lusine Avanesyan told reporters  that this information is a lie At the same time, she stressed that  Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan held closed discussions on  August 22 and August 23 with with various state, political and public  circles, during which the humanitarian and security problems in the  Republic of Artsakh resulting from the complete blockade by  Azerbaijan were considered. 

"The actions of the Artsakh authorities and the resolution of the  situation, mediation proposals received from various mediators  were  discussed. The decision has not yet been made, but discussions are  ongoing.  President Harutyunyan will personally publish information  about the situation and approaches of the authorities in the near  future," Avanesyan said.

Today there were reports in the Armenian media that yesterday at the  meeting of the NKR Security Council the President of Artsakh  announced the decision to use the Aghdam road for commercial transit.  According to reports, Harutyunyan said that it was decided that the  supply of diesel fuel and building materials will be carried out  through the territory of Azerbaijan, and the supply of medicine and  food from Armenia through the Kashatagh (Lachin) corridor. In the  future, the supply of electricity and gas to Artsakh will also come  from Azerbaijan.
