Artsakh police to make every effort to ensure public safety and  suppress lawlessness - Karen Sargsyan

ArmInfo. On August 22, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh David  Ishkhanyan received Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of  Artsakh Karen Sargsyan. This is reported by the National Assembly of  Artsakh.

At the meeting, the role and importance of the Ministry of Internal  Affairs in ensuring the normal operation of state institutions in the  country, maintaining internal security and solidarity were  emphasized.

Karen Sargsyan expressed readiness to cooperate with the National  Assembly and its relevant committees The minister assured that the  system of internal affairs, especially the police, will make every  effort to ensure public safety and suppress lawlessness and  arbitrariness.

A special topic of discussion was a number of issues related to the  civil defense of the Republic of Artsakh.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Artsakh NA Standing  Committee on Defense, Security and Law Enforcement  Marsel Petrosyan.
