ArmInfo. Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the opposition parliamentary faction With Honor, has commented on a statement by Karen Matevosyan, who introduces himself as militia commander.
He drew attention to the fact that the commander of the Artsakh militia today issued a statement in which, referring to the difficult situation, including the consequences of the war, noted that in this one should not look for the guilt of the acting president of the NKR, Arayik Harutyunyan.
"Regarding the guilty, he shifts everything to the "former" field and does not say anything about the RA government, which has declared its readiness to recognize Artsakh as a part of Azerbaijan, and Karen Matevosyan himself as a citizen of Azerbaijan.
Moreover, the militia commander threatens that if there is no consolidation around Araik Harutyunyan, then he and the field commanders will dissolve the government and parliament and form a new crisis body where they will make decisions themselves. By the way, the dissolution of the parliament and the government of Artsakh is one of the official demands of Azerbaijan, which was voiced by Aliyev himself," the Armenian MP recalled.
At the same time, Abrahamyan believes that the incitement of such an extreme situation in Artsakh will serve as the basis for Azerbaijan to conduct an "anti-terrorist operation", which Aliyev has repeatedly said, who is looking for a suitable opportunity for this, and under favorable conditions will send his special forces to Artsakh with sauce " internal troops.
"I'm not talking about the fact that the voiced statement contains elements of the overthrow of the constitutional order, which implies the activation of the relevant mechanisms. One of the preferred options is to sit down and talk to Matevosyan, to explain the serious political consequences of his statements and actions, otherwise the events will have lightning-fast and cruel consequences for Artsakh," the MP summed up.
A certain Karen Matevosyan, introducing himself as the commander of the militia, made a statement in which he accused the former presidents of Artsakh of the difficult situation around the republic. He also accused the acting chairman of the NKR parliament of unwillingness to consolidate around the President of Artsakh in the name of salvation. In this vein, he threatened to dissolve the NKR parliament and government by force, to form a temporary body to govern the country if state structures refuse to implement the agenda proposed by Arayik Harutyunyan. He also informed that on Saturday he and a group of his associates came to the NKR parliament to discuss this issue, however, "the conversation failed because of the allegedly inadequate behavior of the speaker of the parliament."
