Artsakh president holds meetings with MPs, militia fighters 

ArmInfo. On August 17 President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan received the  deputies of the "Free Motherland-UCA" faction of the National Assembly of the Artsakh Republic.

The President presented the recent developments in the foreign  political field, particularly mentioning the discussions held at the  UN Security Council session.

At the meeting with the deputies, President Harutyunyan mentioned the  severe socio-economic situation in the country, emphasized the need  for coordinated use of external and internal potential to overcome  the humanitarian disaster

On August 17 President of Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan met  with a group of militia fighters.

At their suggestion, the Head of the State presented the steps taken  in the direction of ensuring the security of Artsakh, stopping the  further course of the genocide and overcoming the humanitarian  disaster.

The necessity of consolidating everyone's efforts and stability of  the state system to face the challenges facing Artsakh was  underscored during the meeting.
